Houston Westbury High School's defensive tackle DeAnthony Sims has had an interesting few months. Upon returning from his visit to Texas Tech, Sims suffered a ruptured appendix, which sidelined him for a few games this season. Throw in Hurricane Ike and I guess you have a change of perspective. Volleyball unseats conference leader

The Cougar volleyball team swept its weekend home games, dealing Conference USA leader Alabama-Birmingham a stunning 3-2 upset on Sunday and sweeping Memphis on Friday to move into the fourth slot in C-USA.
